A Former Commissioner in Imo State, Mr Nick Opara-Ndudu, has revealed why he is contesting the 2019 governorship election in the state.

In a release he issued on Monday, Opara-Ndudu stated that he has what it takes to create a pathway to prosperity through sustainable growth and development.

The release reads;

The Healing School

“2019 Imo Governorship: May I use this medium to formally notify you of my decision to leave to All Progressives Congress (APC) and pitch my tent with the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) where I intend to vie for the governorship ticket. A formal correspondence in this respect shall follow in a few days.

At a time like this, I believe Imo State requires a new type of leadership that would pursue the welfare of Imolites as a priority and create a pathway to prosperity through sustainable growth and development.

This is, indeed, a herculean task and I ask for your support and prayers as we confront the monsters of our politics and governance.
