Hon. Kingsley Echendu, aspirant for 2019 Federal House of Representatives for Isu/Nwangele/Nkwerre/Njabe Federal Constituency under the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), has reiterated his resolve to attract the desired development cum dividends of democracy to his constituency if elected.
Speaking to Daily Nigerian Horn at the official flag off of the free medical outreach organized by Hon. Jones Onyereri, the incumbent fed rep member for the constituency held at St Matthew Anglican Church field, Nkwerre on Monday, Echendu said that he is much better than all the ranks and files of the individuals that have so far indicated interest to contest with him.
According to him, he has all it takes to offer effective representation and attract the needed development to his people while expressing optimistic that come 2019 he will emerge victorious from the contest.
Asked if he is not intimidated by the likes of the incumbent Deputy Speaker of Imo State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Ugonna Ozuruigbo (OZB) who is also in the race, the Real Estate mogul said, No. I can’t be intimidated. I am much better that everyone who has come out. I am more educated and I have the capacity to do well for my constituency and even to do better than those who have been there.
The Isu LGA born businessman also showered encomiums on Hon. Onyereri for his laudable projects in the area, describing the free medical treatment as one project that needs commendation and support of the people.
As you know, I am aspiring for the federal House of rep and I came out because I know I can do well. I am coming out to complement the good works of Hon. Jones Onyereri in the constituency, to continue from where he would stop to also help our people to enjoy the dividends of democracy.
I feel very good for him. He is a man who has been very good to us. He has done so well for the constituency. He is a man who has the people at heart and we are very happy with him.
And it is a great thing that he has just commenced the health programme to take care of the people of his constituency and we commend his for this. In fact we owe him a lot.
And as he is aspiring to go to the senate, we pray that the good Lord will grant him the ticket to represent us in the senate. He said.
